Oriental dragons are strongly associated with water in popular belief. They are believed to be the rulers of moving bodies of water, such as waterfalls, rivers, or seas. They can show themselves as water spouts (tornado or twister over water). In this capacity as the rulers of water and weather, the dragon is more anthropomorphic in form, often depicted as a humanoid, dressed in a king's costume, but with a dragon head wearing a king's headdress.
As with all tattoos, the following oriental dragon tattoo art and their true meanings have the potential to positively impact our lives if we choose to consistently hold them in our awareness for a length of time so that these attributes of tattooing become part of the thread of our being.
Throughout the history of tattooing, oriental dragon tattoo stencils may have had all the gallery time that their artwork can receive. And some just want their work to be seen. Since the stencil stays uniform throughout its use, it is easier for an artist to quickly replicate what could be a complicated piece at a very quick rate, when compared to other conventional tattooing methods.
